I don't have a .30-.30, but I keep looking at the Marlin XTR stainless with the grey laminated stock. Sweet looking rifle, and reviews re. accuracy are good. Can't bring myself to pay $789 for a new rifle though.

Here's one of mine. the other is a 1939 win 94.

this is a marlin 336 SDT wearing a Nikon Monarch 1.5-4.5x20 sitting on Talley Lightweight Extra Lows.


My diploma is a DD Form 214

I have flipover 4x on my 336, someone said I should get a 3x9, cant see it, what are your thoughts...

Not the best pic, but you get the idea. Been using this bad boy since I was 12, actually took my first deer without it just last year. Was kinda a sad moment.

i believe this is the last deer i got with it befor i gave it to my son. still waiting for my boy to get one with paps rifle. the only grandson to carry our name has my dads guns [img:center][/img]
