thoughts on ruger sr556

thinking about getting one. saw one recently and loved it. anyone have one or have any thoughts.

A womans bousm is the hardest rock the all mighty ever created......and I can find no sighn on it.

You might as well throw in a couple bucks more and go with a LWRC or Patriot.

The deer didn't disappear.... the 250,000 guys who used to walk around and make the deer move did.

I personally like the SR556-E model just because you can set it up any way you want if you dont want the quad rail from what i know they are good guns

well i actualy was getting ready to buy one and then found the troy defense 5.56 carbine at dicks spoting goods. Was very impressed with it. havent shot it yet. waiting for this weekend at the cabin. http://www.troydefense.com/firearmsa...-5-56-carbine/

I have the SR-556 real nice gun before you drop a ton on a red dot look at a 1x4 scope, I wish i would have at first. I bought an Eotech which is a GREAT close combat optic but if you want to shoot groups at 100 and farther out not a good choice. If you have any doubts on what optic buy a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot which is a GREAT optic for the money $100, try it then upgrade to a high end Aimpoint or Eotech.
