Savage model 16 worth

Hey guys hoping someone could help.Just bought a savage model 16 stainless,accutrigger #g244032 got it cheap, was trying to find out its value.couldnt find on savage site but not a computer dude.Thank you for any help. Eric

good gun but they are pretty common. you should be able to get $350 on a private sale. depends on caliber, type of stock, scope, etc. gun dealer will probably give you $200 tops.

The current MSRP is $720-$825 depending on the model. Gunbroker NIB $500-$600 range. Used in the $350-$400 range depending on condition, history and etc.

The bare bones 111s are selling for around $300 on gunbroker. The 16 should be able to get more than this.

Tks. guys paid 250 with 3-9-40 simmons.already have bushnell elite on it.its a 243.I figured if it shoots like everyone says they do I'll be happy. Tks. again Eric

I agree! I bought two, a 16 and a 116 new out the door for $506 each and thought I got heck of a deal!
