.410 shotgun

Fellow members, I have an old Sears .410. It is the same as a Marlin Model 59. Can anyone tell me how to remove the bolt. I haven't had this gun out in ages.

I don't know that particular gun, but some bolt actions require the trigger to be pulled all the way back when you remove the bolt and when you replace it.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

Re: .410 shotgun

Exploded M59 drawing shows a bolt stop pin located at the bottom front of the trigger housing and a "side" safety lever located in the same general area.

So ya might hafta move the safety lever too, to remove the bolt?
