Look no farther than the 140 grain Core-Lokt. You can pay more but will the deer notice?

Re: 7mm-08 ammo

Thanks Guys!! I like to save where I can that's for sure. I shot a 2506 Rem. for years and wanted to go to a short action because of some problems with my elbow. Hope I made the right choice with the 7mm-o8. I know most 7mm bullets have a good "BC" but was a little worried about the small case.

Re: 7mm-08 ammo

You won't have any issues with using the 7mm-08 well beyond the distances you have mentioned. Put the bullet where it needs to go and it will not do you wrong. Good luck.

Re: 7mm-08 ammo

Thanks!!! That's what I was hoping for. Have to get my garage cleaned out and set up my loading bench. But it looks like factory ammo. for this year.

Re: 7mm-08 ammo

The crazy thing is that 7mm-08 ammo starts at around $25 a box.....No reason for it when you can get 270 or 30-06 for around $19-$20.

Re: 7mm-08 ammo

Yeah, that caught me off gaurd but ya gotta have ammo. I'm not gonna play with it a whole lot untill I start loading for it. Just want to zero it with a factory round that'll get the job done. I'll work on some hand loads late this winter.

I have had good luck with Winchester Combined Technology 139 grain Accurate and hits hard
