My bet is a Webley. If you research the proof marks it should give you a bunch of info.

I don't think Webley. E over LG in the egg is a Belgian black powder proof, post 1893. Crown over R is reproofed stamp, used by many countries. Most Webleys don't have the full length underpin. I am guessing a Belgian or Prussian copy of a Webley ?

Negative. With pinfire guns, the hammer doesn't have a firing pin, and it comes down on top of the chamber instead of hitting from the rear. There would also be recesses for the pins in the cylinder.

If you have to track your game, then you aren't using a big enuff gun.
