eye relief scope

ok guys im seeking some advise here....i want to put a scope on my 12 ga slug gun but i want as much eye relief as i can get out of a scope...main reason is my kids 9 and 12 will also be shooting this gun and they are used to a red dot scope on the 22...i already have the reduced recoil slugs and they shoot them with the red dot with no problems....but since im going to be using this gun as well i would like to have a scope on it...i like pin point and not the "dot...lol...without breaking the bank what are some good scopes with some good eye relief on them?????????

Re: eye relief scope

There are scopes with LER for that purpose. First, I would google "shotgun scopes". The bigger firms, like optics planet should have them. Call one of their reps.

Re: eye relief scope

actually 175 isnt bad...but im wanting something like a 4-5 inch eye relief....i may end up just sticking with the red dot since they will not be shooting over 50-60 yards and i will deal with it out to 100 or so yards....thanks for the advise guys....

Re: eye relief scope

I think Bushnell offers a scope that they claim has around 5" of eye relief. I could be mistaken, but I think it was called a dusk to dawn or something like that.It was pretty reasonable in price too. I'm thinkin it was just under a hundred bucks.
