Winchester SXP??

thinkin about buying one of these for waterfowl this year but I can't seem to find much in the way of reviews on them. they feel real comfortable to me when i've handled them in the store but I'd like to hear from anybody that owns/owned or has shot one..

Re: Winchester SXP??

They're pretty much the same as the 1300, which I like, they feel better to me than the Rem 870. I never had a problem with any of mine but some say they're not built as well. Not sure if the current ones are the same exact design but they look it. If I were going to buy a pump for waterfowl though I would go with a browning BPS or 2nd choice a benelli Nova. JMO

Re: Winchester SXP??

the sxp felt real comfortable and fit me really well when I was looking at it at basspro and I have an old winchester 1200 that I love so I was hoping I would like the sxp just as much. I can't afford the browning and I shot a friend's nova and it wasn't very comfortable. I was kind of torn between the sxp and an 870. still got time to think about it though.. thank you.

If the SXP is what fits and feels good, no question I'd go with it, should serve you well.

Re: Winchester SXP??

SXP is made in Turkey.

Get an 870 and you don't have to worry about parts or accessories.

The deer didn't disappear.... the 250,000 guys who used to walk around and make the deer move did.
