Differences in Hornet ammo

I finally got the right scope mount for a Brno ZBK110 rifle in 22 Hornet I've had for years. It is well made and similar to the Brno Effect rifle. I put a 2X7 Leupold VX2 on it and went to sight it in. I used a Hart bench rest there wasn't any wind.
I started at 25 yards to get on paper. First I used some old Seller & Bellot 45 gr ammmo and the first shot was in the upper half of the X ring and each subsequent shot just seemed to make one ragged hole. I have sighted a lot of guns in and thought this is going to be a breeze.
Then I shot shells from a new box of Remington 45 gr ammo that I intended to use with the gun. The first shot was 2 1/2" high and to the right. The next 3 shots strung out 3" left to right. I thought maybe the barrel was heating up. But I tried another SB round and it went right back to the X ring.
I fired 4 more Remington rounds with the stringing continuing, fired one more SB round back to the X ring.

At 100 yards the Remington was all over the paper, the SB still grouped.

I have mounted a lot of scopes and sighted in a lot of rifles for myself and friends and have seem rifles prefer one type of ammo to all others but never to this extent.
Is Seller & Bellot that good or is Remington green box ammo that bad?

Re: Differences in Hornet ammo

Seems to me your gun just doesn't like the Remmie ammo. No big surprise really. Many guns dislike many kinds of ammo. Some the same bullet weight, and similar velocities. Stuff that makes you go W.T.....I personally never had a gun shoot bad with Remington ammo. Not always great, but never bad. And for some reason I don't really care to use it.

Try another brand to see what happens.
