Leverevolution Question

I picked up a nice used 1972 marlin glenfield 30-30 of my neighboor and I was just wondering if its safe to use in this gun being its 40 years old. The gun was very well taken care of and the bore is clean, clean, clean.

Re: Leverevolution Question

See no reason why not. I use a 60 year old Rem pump and no problems. And my model 94 Win, is over 40 years old works just fine.

Re: Leverevolution Question

I use the .35 Remington Leverevolutions in a 45 year old Marlin, with no problems. Those Marlin actions are way overbuilt.

I would feel safe shooting them.

Re: Leverevolution Question

Of course it's safe. Forty years is nothing to a good gun.

Re: Leverevolution Question

You Bet! They work great in my mid 70s Marlin 336A.
