Magees optics

First, I got to say thanks to Magee and the sweet deal he gave me.

As some of you may know, Grices gunshop was having a super sale this past weekend. Well let me tell you something. They had the particular model Nikon scope I wanted for $299.00 plus tax on sale.

Magee beat the snot out of that price bigtime. I paid less than what Grices wanted for their scope without tax. Plus he beat it even with shipping. I didn't have to leave my living room and spend gas money, plus he was $22.00 cheaper on the scope and with tax and shipping included it came to $297.00. I don't know how he sales them so cheap.

Thanks again Magee--your the man

Re: Magees optics

FYI , the Grice sales aren't really sales.......trust me, I buy a lot of stuff from them, and they are good to deal with most of the time.....but most of the sales that they have listed in their flyers are regular prices, they just show the original prices as a higher price, when actually the sale price is the price they are all of the time......

I have also noticed them marking up used guns for the period of these sales, then lowering back to prior prices once the sales are over.......

I think most of us know this. Point made and taken, but this thread is not only about deflated prices, you have to consider the A+ customer service as well. Courteous, friendly, knowlegdeable and informative come to mind to name only a few.

Re: Magees optics

BrownTrout, thanks for the kind words. I started this business because I found out the outrageous markup that there is on optics. There is no reason why a small businessman can't make a few bucks without killing their customers. I look forward to doing more business with the HPA community. Just remember that if you go through me, through this site or let me know that you are a member on this forum I'll give you an even better deal that what I have going on my website. Also if you are in the market for a Nikon check in with me to see what deal I can do for you. I can't put them up on my website (long story, I'll tell to those that end up buying one). Just like BrownTrout's I'm very sure that you won't find one at a better price. Thanks again!

Mac
