howa

so im thinking of getting a howa. i like the ranchland combo. i would like to use it for deer and maybe occasionally coyote. im thinking 243 but i would like it in a 308. the wife wont let me get one of each. what do you suggest and what is everyones experience with howa.

Howa's are good! Very nice rifles, well made. Think about a 7mm-08, awesome cartridge!

howa's are heavy guns but great shooters my brother has one in .223 and i shot a groundhog with it at 208 yards great shooter dont know if you can get the scope combo with it. great gun for great price and if its the package nikko sterlings scopes are good scopes. it will be a great but for u. i like the .308 just incase you decide to use it on bigger game. but .243 is a nice caliber to. good luck

Get both and dont worry about what the old lady says, and no matter what anyone says dont get rid of her its always......... Cheaper to keep her. At least thats the advice ive been givin, as ive been tryin to get rid of mine for years.
