Here she is

Well, here are some pictures of my new Tikka T3 Lite in .22-.250 Remington. Just got back from the range, I figured, it couldnt hurt to do a "Break in" type deal.... I did 1 shot, clean, 2 shots, clean, 3 shots clean. then 2 shots and clean. Not sure if its going to make a difference or not really, but hey, why not you know?

Anyhow. Here's my Tikka.

Ryan.

p.s. The scopes just a junker I threw on so I could shoot it... cant have a new gun and not shoot it, thats just unamerican.

Re: Here she is

yes..... but now now jim lets not start any fires here hahahahaha....

Ryan.

My biggest problem was just more that I've never heard of it and have never done it so I wasnt sure how far to go with it and what to "do" in essence

Re: Here she is

Small bores are pretty easy, In my 30-378 I load 124 GR of H 5010 with 165Gr bullet.
If you want to see some fouling that was it, looked like you cooked ribs in that barrel.
You won't regret treating that barrel good now, you will be re payed many times over in the future.

Thats really good to know, I never really had anyone teach me how to "correctly clean" a gun, but I think I did alright. Now I just have to keep after it is all.

Re: Here she is

What is the red dot behind the bolt? A cocked indicator? The other red dot apears to be the safety off indicator.

Re: Here she is

Looks great! You'll have a lot of good days afield with it as the years come. What scope were you thinking about topping it off with when you finally put the good one on it?
