Abolt value?

Can anyone give me a fair value of a Browning Abolt medallion 30-06 in good shape?
My son has been wanting a bolt action 30-06, 270, or 308 and we may ahve a chance to pick up this Browning.

Also how do they compare with a model 700 bdl-better, about the same, not as good?

Thanks, hdt

Re: Abolt value?

Depends how old and how used it is. I would say probably 350.00 to 400.00 if in great shape. In comparison to a Model 700, I would always buy an abolt before a 700. I had an abolt stainless stalker and now have a XBolt in 270 cal.
It is an awesome gun

they are $650 NIB retail. for a good used one, i'd say $4-450 tops.
