Marlin 80 (.22) ejection issue

Good evening. I have a pretty rough Marlin model 80. I picked it up for $25 not too long ago and I am now getting around to using it. It is not ejecting the shell. It is "stuck" untill I flick it or pick it out. Could it ne a cleaning issue or sometning else?

Thanks in advance.

Take apart the bolt? If so are there any diagrams or instructions on the Web?

Thanks!

Re: Marlin 80 (.22) ejection issue

The ejector pin is missing or broken off. A friend has a Model 80 and I have a Model 25. The bolts are very, very similar, they both use the same clip and The ejector looks identical.

I believe that the Model 80 was the predecessor of the Model 25 so if you can't find an ejector for the M80, The ejector for the M25 should fit.

Don't let the name fool Ya!
