Savage rifles ?

Looking for another deer rifle in left handed bolt action model. There aren't a lot of choices out there. I'm leaning towards the Tikka T3. I have looked at Winchester and Remington, but a friend has recommended the Savage. I don't know IF they offer an LH model yet. I figure if it's a brand worth considering, I'll look into LH availability.
Looking up to about a $650 price point.
Thanks.

Re: Savage rifles ?

Savage does offer left handed models. I have a RH mod 111 in .270. love it.

Buckslayer, the big question is IF it's a brand worth considering.

Re: Savage rifles ?

Savage shotguns = not so good.

Savage rifles = great guns for the money.

Bought my boy a savage youth model 11 in 7mm-08 and have been very pleased with it.

Re: Savage rifles ?

I bought my first Savage rifle for my son to use when he turned 12 a few years back. The action is silky smooth and it' a tack driver. I find myself using it when he is not out.

Re: Savage rifles ?

While the Savages are. NIce accurate rifles, I'd choose the Tikka T-3 every time.
