Anyone know a good gunsmith in SE PA

Im looking to have a new barrel installed on my M1 Garand and was wondering if anyone on the forum knows of a gunsmith local to the SE PA area who does this type of work.
Thanks in advance,
Bill

Don't know of any, but some CMP folk in the area have the tools to change a barrel. You could also send the rifle to whoever you're getting the barrel from and have them do the setup.

Out of curiosity, what barrel are you getting?

Now that I think of it, I think the Handgunner shop in Topton might do gunsmithing work, too.

Dunno what part of SE PA you want, but here is a good one on the Chester-Lancaster County line:

Thanks for the replies fellas, I live near Quakertown.
To make a long story short, I shot some Greek surplus ammo without cleaning it immediately afterwards and the barrel rusted. Id like to replace it with a standard GI barrel.

HXP is non-corrosive. I've shot well over 1000 rds of it in my M1s, 03's, and 1917 with no ill effects. Are you sure it wasn't Korean ammo? A fair amount of that is indeed corrosive.
