Suggestions for reloading 300 Win Mag

OK, I've just got a set of dies for my 300 Win Mag. Never handloaded rifle (but have done alot of handgun ammo).

ANyone have any suggested/favorite loads (powder, weights) for pushing a 180 gr. bullet? I've got 2 bullets to try- Noslers and Hornady.

Thanks!

BH

Re: Suggestions for reloading 300 Win Mag

There's a thread going in the reloading sub forum on this topic.

I'm using Reloader 22 and CCI LRM primers w/ 180 gr. Hornady bullets. I'm getting excellent velocity and accuracy.

X2. Its like the .300 win mag and RL22 were made for each other.

H1000 or IMR 4831 are good places to start.
