Westernfield scope

Came across a 4x33 Westernfield scope in my uncle's "shootin' closet". Told me I could have it. Since he hasn't bought anything new since LBJ was in office I'm gonna guess this scope is from the 1960's. Anyone know anything about this brand? Thanks.

Re: Westernfield scope

I believe they were made to be sold at Montgomery Ward stores stores, I don't know who manufactured them. The western field rifles were made by Mosberg.

When you are up to your butt in alligators, it is hard to remember your intent was to drain the swamp. Stay focused!

Re: Westernfield scope

John is correct, Westernfield was the name MW used on a lot of it's hunting equipment including firearms. Had to say who made it ,but a lot were made by Tasco.
