Re: Air Rifle scope mout Question ??

It should be the same as a groved rail on a 22. Any 22 mount should work.

BTW Some European airguns are 11mm (?) and the regular 22 mount will not work but you can get an 11mm mount.

Be sure you purchase an airgun scope. They are made specificaly for airguns. An airgun can damage a regular scope.

Re: Air Rifle scope mout Question ??

Standard airgun mounts are indeed 3/8" groved bases. Gamo makes a rail that ups the mount from 3/8" to standard 7/8" weaver but you still want to either use specific airgun rings with the stops built in or a separate stop that mounts in front of the front ring base to keep it from moving under recoil. Pyramid air is THE place for air guns/supplies and will carry a vast number of very good mounts/rings and scopes and also has FANTASTIC CS. You can even call them and they will talk to you about what you'll need. Dogface is also 100% correct about buying an airgun specific scope. Spring air rifles recoil FORWARD and normal centerfire scopes are designed for rearward recoil. You could take the most expensive scope made for a centerfire, mount it to a spring air rifle and it would shake it apart! Good luck!
