trigger pull adjustment

I have a .223 axiom made by Savage and the trigger pull is way to heavy. can it be adjusted ? Thanks for any help.

there is no easy way to adjust the trigger, as far as turning some screws ala the 700s of old, it is said that a certain kind of piano wire would work for a new spring, i got rid of my edge/axis and bought a marlin xl7 because it has the user friendly pro fire trigger.
