Winchester 94 AE owners

HI folks, new the website and trying to bumble my way through things here but I'll give it a shot. I picked up a nice looking winny 94AE in 30-30 for pretty cheap. My question is regarding the extractor cut on the barrel. Mine is really sloppy looking ie the cut...and was wondering what other people's looked like. It's like the cut was hastily done and was not finished any way...it doesn't seem to hurt the function of the rifle just wanted to get some opinions. I had the gentleman at Lock Stock and Barrel in Crabtree look at it and he said I'm good to go just wanted see what the extractor cut on other AE 94s look like.

I'm no gunsmith but that's looks like a big chip! Metal looks pretty thing in one spot, I be worry about pressure splitting the extractor. I take the rifle to another gunsmith to be sure!

This got my curious so I had to check. My 444 looks the same as this one. I'm not concerned.

I have the same gun and mine looks the same. I actually first noticed it after I had owned it for quite a few years. I was cleaning it in the evening after taking a shot at a deer that day. It scared me - I thought it was a chip out of the chamber! I showed it to my neighbor and we looked at it for a while before figuring out what it was. That was 15 years ago, nothing to worry about.
