No, I have not, but the last product I saw hyped as being used by special ops folks was totally worthless. The anal gun cleaning folks are benchrest shooters, especially short range, 100 to 300 yds. Find a local match or groundhog shoot to visit and talk to them for accurate information. One very popular solvent is Bore Tech Eliminator followed by a mix of Hopper and Kroll oil as the Eliminator is water based. Another is Butches. These clean both carbon and copper. I always use Sweets along with one of the above to be sure copper is gone. If you clean you rifle in one session it is not clean. Takes several times with soak times for total cleaning. About 3 days minimum. Notice the product you mentioned does not say anything about copper.

Amsoil now has a line of gun cleaning products. Has anyone used them? Any comments on their usefulness?

Me too! I have a couple of Benelli's I use for duck hunting. The mat blue finish rusts quickly. I purchased some stuff allegedly being used by the military in marine environments. It was useless. I would pull the guns out of the case and they would start rusting.

I went back to G-96 which works better than anything else I have tried.
