Not yet. I found some 87 grain ammo on line and I'm going to order some soon. I have summers off so I'll start tinkering with it then. Maybe shoot some whistle pigs with it.

I love the old lever guns! I have my Grandfather's 94 Win. from 1904 with the octagon long barrel, inscribed " nickel steel made especially for smokeless powder". When I was very young I would go to his camp and almost everyone carried an old lever gun of some sort. Old guy across the street had a .38-55. Often wonder what happened to all of them?
