Snub-nose recco

I would like to have a snub nose handgun, semi auto or revolver - it makes no difference, and I am looking for quality and accuracy in the gun with no more than a 3" barrel. I am a rifle and shotgun shooter with a growing appreciation of the 1911 .45 and freely admit I have no clue about "snubbies" and need some suggestions.

Thanks!!

I have a S&W Model 36 .38Special 5 shot revolver, and I love it. Small, light and very accurate to 10 yds. My reg carry guns are mid size but very concealable, S&W 9mm Shield, and Walther PPS M2 also in 9mm. Both are natural pointers and great CCW pistols

Fired a Ruger SP101 with .357 magnum rounds. The grip was so small that I could hardly get a good hold on the thing. Fired it 10 times and that was all-she-wrote.

I love my S&W Airweight. Its the definition of a pocket pistol IMO. 5 shot , 38 special plenty of power at close quarters.

How about a Sig P-365, 10 shots. Fits in the pocket.

My Taurus model 85 .38 snub nose is my go to carry piece. Accuracy trumps the Colt Detective Special I used to have and it shoots exactly to the sights at 7 yards. My Dad has carried a Charter Arms 38 snubbie for over 30 years and it has given him no problems.
