I'm rather excited about this one

My new Browning X-Bolt in 375 H&H magnum showed up today. Unfortunately the three boxes of ammo I ordered online aren't here yet. Still, looks like fun times ahead!

You will love it. I have a Win. M70 in 375h&h and it does not kick as bad as you are lead to believe.

I fired a Winchester model 70 375 H&H that belongs to a member here and I agree that it wasn't too bad. It definitely wasn't as bad as a Ruger 77 Mk II .338 Win Mag I had. That thing was brutal.

Life can be funny. My son is soon getting back from Iraq and he's talking to me about Elk in the Rockies and Cape Buffalo in Africa over the next few years. We've already settled on Pronghorn in Wyoming in 2019. I also realize I derive more joy from my 35 Whelen than from my 243 too. So it all got me thinking. Above all, this sport has got to remain fun.

I'm a lil like you TC....seems I also tend to come full circle on playing around with these unresistible toys!! Sometimes more fun than the hunt itself!!

Some fun times planned there with your Son!! Prayers for his safe tour plus travels back home. We're all thankful for his service!!

Thatís the #1 gun youíll see Alaskan guides toting while youíre hunting brown bear. They must be standard issue when you get our guide license.

I want to do Brown Bear someday and that's what I want in my hands too. It's good for everything on the Planet.
