Looking for Mauser recoil pad.

I have recently bought a Mauser Werke A.G Oberndorf a. N. Mod 3000 chambered in 7MM Rem Mag. The gun is in great shape except for the recoil pad. The rubber recoil pad is dried out and hard as a rock. I searched online for a replacement recoil pad and cannot seem to find anything. Wondering if anyone on here would know where to find one? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You are probably not going to find the exact fit. If you buy a new one get one slightly oversized and grind it to fit. Instructions can be found on YouTube.

Measure the height & width. Get one slightly bigger than the pad on the gun so you have material to grind to fit.

They come in different thicknesses. The thickness will affect you length of pull. You can order the same thickness as the one on your gun or you can change the LOP by going thinner or thicker.

Highly recommend LimbSaver recoil pads. If you don't feel you're up to customizing one as above you could go with a slip-on.

Limb savers pads are great. If you are going more for classic look pachmyer makes nice pads.
