NEW RIFLE!! .243 TC Venture

Man am I impressed with this gun! Everything right out of the box I am drilling the bull at 100 yards with cloverleafs! Using the new Redfield 4-12 and .95 grain Remington accutips. First few shot were suspect... I shot about a box of shells messing around and moving 3 shot groups around. I later took the gun home and gave it a good cleaning. Saturday I went back to the range and shot about 9 shells out of it. Last 2 groups of 3 were as stated above. Thanks to BEE'S GUN'S for the SOLID recommendation

Experience the Xtreme!

My buddy and I both bought T/C Ventures, his is a 308,mine a 223. Dialed the scope in and like you said, cloverleafs. My buddy put a couple in the same hole with his 308 !! They seem to be real tack drivers. Good luck with it.

My son has a .270 and it's a shooter. Under 1" for 3-shots at 100 yards.

Everything I have heard has been good on this rifle. Sighted a .270 in for a guy about eight months ago and the groups were .75 to 1.25. All shots were with a cold barrel. A nice rifle.

Re: NEW RIFLE!! .243 TC Venture

Let me know how the 7mm shoots. I have a venture in 280 that shoots under 1/2 inch with 160gr Nosler Accubonds and a healthy dose of IMR7828. I have a 7mm venture that shoots really well with 140gr core lokts over H4831 but can't get it to shoot well (1" or under) with any other combo I've tried.

Re: NEW RIFLE!! .243 TC Venture

Just back from the range with the 7mm just over 1" at 100 yards with 150 grain corelok remington factory loads.I bore sighted it then had to shot 4 shots to get it where i wanted. then I shot two three shot groups and both were the same but the barrel was real hot by then so we will test it out this weekend when i have more time and i'll buy a box of premium ammo.Going to montana in nov so I'll just use factory ammo this year.Shot a whitetail 2 years ago in montana at 390 yds with my 280 remington mountainrifle with a 3x9 leupold this has a 4x12 swaroski 50mm on it so it looks like its going to work so far for the price i'm pretty happy
