Ultimate Pest Control Rig

My buddy purchased this "gatlin" gun kit that mounts two 10/22 barrel assembly's together. We put it together the other night. It shoots four rounds per cycle. He didn't get his large capacity magazines in yet so we just threw a couple I had in there for the pics (two different sizes tho) Should be a blast to shoot and not break the bank at the same time. Spray and pray pest control perhaps ?

Re: Ultimate Pest Control Rig

Nothing personal but it looks like it is mounted to a model rocket launch pad.It does look like a fun way to burn ammo though. After a few times though the novelty may wear off.Is it legal though?Seems closer to automatic than semi to me.I'm sure some one will post on you tube how to make it fully auto anyhow.

Bob Seger,till it shines.

Re: Ultimate Pest Control Rig

i am betting that the atf would not be amused if hand crank was replaced by an electric motor. manually operated vs a vulcan gun. having a variable speed elctric motor with a connecting collar could be "gray." how good do you look in an orange jumpsuit with a large "P" on the back? good high cap 10/22 mags could limit cycling rate. now if it could be converted to a belt fed.....

Re: Ultimate Pest Control Rig

I believe someone makes a kit to make a Ruger 10/22 look
like an M60 machinegun.

As close as a guy can get to full-rock without involving the ATF.......and on a budget, too. A whole afternoon of fun for the whole family for 30 or 40 bucks in ammo !! How cool !!!

Re: Ultimate Pest Control Rig

My buddy got the kit from Cabelas. Just take the stocks of two Ruger 10/22's and mount them up. It uses a crank with two lobes on it, one for each trigger. Pretty simple design utilizing the semi auto action and keeping it legal.
