Remington Premier Core-Lokt Ultra Bonded Ammo

Any first hand info/opinions on the performance of this ammo? I'm considering it in .270 win. and .308.

Thanks

I have used the Rem. Express core-lokt for over 30 years with excellant results, never tried the ultra bond, I have no reason to.

its almost like the original corelokt and .308 were made for each other for hunters in PA. Ive always had great results with them

Your 270 might be a different story dependeding on what you are shooting and at what ranges you are shooting.

Wouldn't use anything else for deer in my .270, they are acurate deadly and compared to premium ammo cheap. Usually on sale right before deer season.

I used the 130 cor-loct gr. load for years in my 270 before I got into reloading...If I were forced to go back to factory loads, I would use them again.

Re: Remington Premier Core-Lokt Ultra Bonded Ammo

I was just at Gander Mountain, and they had a MOUNTAIN of core-lokts in varying calibers for around 20 bucks. I should have picked up a box of 270 as my gun loves them.

If you want to spend extra money for nothing, by all means have at it.

Now if you are going after moose or elk it might be a bit different. I would still use the tried and true originals though.

Re: Remington Premier Core-Lokt Ultra Bonded Ammo

Something must be wrong with my computer with everyone saying positive things about CoreLokts. I have used them for over 50 years with good results. As far as elk are concerned I have shot over 30 with CoreLokts and not lost one.
