opinions on remington titanium??

I have a chance to purchase a Remington titanium rebarreled to a 284. The bolt is spiral fluted and has been rechambered.
The purchase price would be $900. What is your experiences with this caliber? Any dis-likes on the gun? Would this be in the right price range for a used gun?

if you reload, go for it. that cartridge will do anything the .280 and .270 will do, but in a short action. Short light rifle owners have long enjoyed the few ounces of weight redux a short action rifle gives with the performance of the .270.

again, if you reload, jump on it. it's a cartridge that IMO should have been much more successful than it was.
