Ruger American Ranch in 450 Bushmaster.

I just picked one of these up, l've taken it to the range a couple of times and have been quite pleased with it. I've been averaging 1 1/4" groups at 100 yards and 2" groups at 150 yards. I've been using a Ruger #1 in 45-70 for many years and I'm getting tired of carrying that heavy of a gun around, time for semi retirement. I hunt in Rhode Island, shotgun only, and in New Hampshire, and Western PA. The areas I hunt I don't think that I would have a shot over 150 yards, so I think this gun will work fine. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had the itch for one.

Now if you're looking to part with that No.1 I may be more interested.

I find the recoil no worse than my marlin 336 in 35 Remington. I've never been that sensitive to recoil.
