Re: Snake Skins Gun Camo Kit

I used it to camo a bow and a model 500 Mossberg.
Shotgun had the stuff on for aboout 15 years,I just took it off last fall and gave the gun to my kid.
Over the many years of turkey and duck hunting, the tape did start to peal a little abound the edges, but I just trimmed it back with a razor blade once of twice.

No rust under the tape when I took it off. Rubbing alcohol was used to get the sticky stuff off. this was not a beautiful gun when I taped it up.

I use to take the tape off every other year on the bow, never did any harm. the bow had beautiful multi lam wood so I waxed it before covering. the bow still looks beautiful.

Re: Snake Skins Gun Camo Kit

I put it on my Browning (syn stock) about 10 years ago. Like Harry some minor pealing in 2-3 spots and trimmed it back. I did scrwew up and use the wrong piece in the wrong spot and had to piece in to finnish but that area has held up fine. This is my waterfowl/turkey gun so 70% of the time it's out the weather might not be so nice. I have not tried to take it off(no reason to)so can't help there.
