What power scope should I buy if I want to use it for ground hog and fox?

Re: 22 Mag

3X9 is more than powerful enough on the top end. And the 3X on the low end will probably be used as much or more as the 3x on the low end. Tom.

Re: 22 Mag

Anything in the 1.5/3 x 7/9 should do the trick.

Another day in paradise. God hunts on Sundays.

Re: 22 Mag

I just mounted a 3-9 Bushnell Trophy on my Savage 93FV 22 Mag. Mainly will be used squirrel, groundhogs & some fall turkey. i concluded that a 3-9 is more than enuff on a 22 WMR. I also considerd a 2-7.

Re: 22 Mag

Midway just had this Millet 1-4 24MM with a 30MM scope on sale for $200. I think I picked up a set of rimfire rings on Brownells for it.

I use my 22 mag when I hunt fox in Allegheny County as I can't use my Fireball there. So I wanted\needed a scope with a lighted reticle.

This reticle has a very fine circle and a nice tiny dot in the middle. I haven't used it for fox hunting yet, but just the other day I whacked a groundhog with it at about 80 yards.

Good scope. I like it a bunch.
