Gun and Ammo manufacturers stocks are dropping and sales are slowing down since Trump was elected. not sure if this is good.

Yea people buying less guns and ammo since they feel their rights won't be taken away by an over reaching government...not sure if this is a good thing either

It's not good for companies/industries to go on an endless winning streak, corrections are good for overall markets, trims the fat, makes things more competitive long term, free market stuff ya know

hoping to see the 9.99 box of 50 9mms soon again,
same with surplus 556 an 762x51 drop in price from years past...
it is a buyers market that is for sure...
last few years scare was all it was about for skyrocketing sales numbers..
now the over stock is so high maybe they will trim the price to move some supply .
but i do not think you will see decent prices till middle of next year...

Yep. Not surprising at all. Like said above maybe ammo will come back to some sensible prices.

Just to point out the relationship. When Obama was elected a local gunshop had a picture of him on the counter that said "Salesman of the Month".

Maybe the companies made too much expecting huge demand, the market will glut, and prices drop for a change instead of climbing!!!

well they have to have an a metric ton of ammo every were.
As all the world laughed and joked that don would not win, ammo companies had to be in 9th gear putting ammo out waiting for the big liberal win and the rush to start the day after... now they are all prob have way more product then they do buyers..
so we all can cross our fingers and hope they will lower them and not let it sit around for a few years waiting for the next big election again.
