Rebuilding a firearm

My son is getting a rifle made. He has a Mdl 700BDL stock and a 300 ultra mag barrelthat I am the proud owner of. I called remeington and they said they would not rebuild the firearm. Anyone out there have any ideas.

Nothing but the obvious....Take the barrel and the stock to a gunsmith..Have him get you an action and assemble a rifle for you.
