Time start on a different gun?

Well worked on and loaded for 5 different rifles this year. 2 308s,2 30-06s and a 30-30. The 30-30 scored a deer. The rest of us just got quick looks at deer flying thru the brush.
I have a 243 setting in the cabinet and i guess it is time to work on it and play with loads and bullets. I had one i used over 20 years ago and shot it to death. It still was good for deer hunting but it was not what it once was? Sold it to a young guy and he has scored many times with it. I even told him why i was selling it. I am an honest person . He didn't care and he loves the gun!
Maybe even go buy something? Since i have lots of 308 and 30-06 material one of them again?
As i have said before the only problem i have is i really don't like to shoot alone! Just don't have anyone to go with.

All that centerfire shooting gets expensive. You shoot much rimfire?

Trigger creep,i shoot rim fire to.

Hiamovi, I belong to 3 clubs. One shoots rifles but it is C.M.P. type rifles.

99% of the folks here think you only go shoot your rifles the day after Thanksgiving !
I just cope with it and go alone.

I used to shoot like crazy. I shot the barrel out on my .30-06. And I shot the heck out of a number of centerfires. Now I wonder why? I could have just shot rimfire and stayed in practice and had a lot more money to boot even though I do reload.
