I got this gun a while ago but didn't have a good enough scope to do any satisfactory groupings with it.
I finally received my bushnell 3200 3-9x40 Saturday after ordering from midway during their sale. I slapped it on my Tikka T3 in .243 win and went to the range today. Took 4 shots to zero in and i started printing groups. Then the following happened:
Yes sir, that's 3 shots @ 100 yards, Federal Premium cheap-o red box stuff, 100 grain. I measured roughly .30 in with the calibers shown, center to center (but showing outside to outside only in the pic) and i later checked it with a digital and got .235 inch, and it was even a little windy today.
Needless to say, i about dirtied my pants after measuring that one. These Tikka's do great things. I think i'm forgoing the Remington and waiting till another T3 (in .308 win) becomes available to me.
ps sorry for the condition of the pic, my camera has seen better days.
The group above was shot previous to the one below, i didn't bother measuring it but if the wind wasn't blowing during those shots, I'm sure it would have been another sub .5 inch group
