Your 2 gun battery for ever and ever.......

Rifle-wise........

Pick ONLY TWO rifles that you would hunt North America with.....everything from groundhogs to coastal brown bears with.

We'll spot everyone a .22 LR so you don't have to fret over that. Which other two ?? Feel free to explain why if it's not obvious......

Re: Your 2 gun battery for ever and ever.......

Of course the .30/06 because I'm a fan boy of the cartridge and because it's just plain good at everything. Second rifle would probably be a .375 H&H Mag. because I'm not sure there's anything on the planet, let alone North America, that it couldn't put a hurtin' on that I'd come across. Let's see, the .30-06 would be chambered in a Winchester M70 and the .375 would look good in a Ruger #1

I already have my two. One is a Remington Model 788 in .222 Rem and the other is an Ruger Hawkeye all weather in .338 WinMag. For strictly all big game hunting, I'll take my .338 WinMag and make it work for whatever I'm after.

30-06 and 35 whelen, wouldn't want to be without either one, and I can even use the same brass to reload if necessary.
