Re: Remington 2011

I'm going to SHOT Show in 2 weeks where they normally debut the new products, all I've heard so far is that they have some big news in the Marlin .22 line.

Re: Remington 2011

Well, they anoounced they are closing the Marlin plant in june or 2011. So some of the manufacturing will be transferred to other locations. wouldn't seem like the time to be having new Marlin designed rifles out? If you see a new Marlin rifle this year it will most likely be an import!!!!!

No way. They moved Marlin manufacturing from North Haven CT. to Ilion NY last August and it was a seamless (almost) transition. Marlins have been made in NY. for about five months now. No Marlin imports exist.

Re: Remington 2011

From what I read on other sites the new Marlin don't work like the old ones. Too bad Remington had to wreck them.
