A question for Auto-5 guys...

My wife just bought me the #1 gun on my wish list (yeah, she's a keeper!). I've long wanted a Belgian-made Auto-5 Light Twenty, and when I found a good-condition '61 sitting on the rack last weekend, I got the green light to make it mine.

My question is, are these models supposed to have a spring in the ejector mechanism? My Magnum 12's both have the same ejector with a spring behind it, and my older Sweet Sixteen has a different ejector altogether so I have no true basis for comparison. Can someone with a similar model, or knowledge of them, tell me if a spring is needed, or if it is good to go as is?

Here's the ejector as it is now:

And here's my Magnum 12 with the same style ejector, only this one has a spring:

Thanks for any and all insight.

Thanks for the link. I had looked at a similar diagram already, but I can't find a diagram that is model-specific. I know some models use the spring in question, but I want to confirm that the Light 20 doesn't need it before I shoot it.
