Browning Abolt 300 win mag with boss

I bought this gun 8-10 years or so ago and no longer use it. Hear is the problem. when I got it, Browning had a special to get my name engraved on the bolt. I had it done, never thinking I'd want to sell the gun........ Now I want to sell it. How can it be done/who can do the job of removing the engraving... Thanks for your help. Greg

I know nothing about engraving, but my guess is that the easiest route my be purchasing a new bolt.

We all make choices, some good, some bad, can you live up to yours?

Is this gun Stainless Steel and how much do you want?

Sadly most of my life has been wasted, but the rest I spent hunting, fishing, and trapping...

Call up Browning(1-800-333-3288) and see if you can get a new bolt body. That's all that's engraved, correct? If it's not engraved too deeply a gunsmith MIGHT be able to polish it out and jewel or bead blast the bolt body. Here's a break-down of the bolt/action:

You really under estimated the ramifications of the boondoggle you have just perpetrated!

No Worries Fields, but I am searching for a SS Stalker A-bolt .300 or .338 win mag with boss.

Sadly most of my life has been wasted, but the rest I spent hunting, fishing, and trapping...
