760 fore end stock?

I have an old 760 game master 30.06, and the front section of the stock is broken in half. Last deer I shot with it I used the crotch of a small tree as a rest and the recoil caused the stock to strike the tree and snap in half, longways.
I was just wondering if anyone knew of or where I could get a new fore end for it? It was my first hunting rifle that my dad got for me when I was 13 and I would love to be able to use it again...
Also a new barrel?

Re: 760 fore end stock?

Check remingtons website. They were moving alot of stocks for all there guns a few months ago. These were factory originals and they were cheap.

But, you might have missed the boat by now.

The deer didn't disappear.... the 250,000 guys who used to walk around and make the deer move did.

Re: 760 fore end stock?

In my mind, you'd probably want to match it up with a forend from the same time period as your original....Right?...Or doesn't it really matter?
