T/C venture vs Tikka t3

Do any of you guys here shoot a t/c venture? I'm in the market for a new boomstick in the 7mm/300 mag range. I have a t3 lite in .243 and love it, but i can get a venture for about $100 cheaper than a t3 lite right now. Does anyone have any opinions? i have my choice down to those two.

If T/C made a left handed venture, I would be buying one before next season, hands down.

Re: T/C venture vs Tikka t3

I think i'm going with the t/c. I checked it out today and it seems to be decently built, though not as nice as the tikka; but the ~~ $100 price difference is the deal maker.

Re: T/C venture vs Tikka t3

I'd go with the Tikka T3. Mine was a .30-06 and I loved it. Ironically I sold it to get the cash to buy a TC Omega. I love TC ML guns but I'm not a big fan of the feel or bolt design on their bolt action rifles.

Winchester M70 XTR Featherweight .30-06
Marlin 336CS .30-30
Beretta A300 Outlander 12 ga.
Mossberg International Silver Reserve II 12 ga.
