Browning bar 338 mag

Since kind given up on 35 whelen carbine. I switched my sights on the bar in 338 mg sure I know you can't hunt with gun in key stone sate Just wondering any reviews good or bad

Very nice rifles. The design is accurate, time tested and helps with recoil. I would go for it.

My brother worked in Wyoming for 3 years at the big power plant in Guernsey. He hunted with a Browning BAR in 30-06. No feeding or ejection problems at all. This is a very well designed rifle. Recoil is about the same as my old 30-30 carbine.

Back in the 1990's Browning offered the model BPR as a pump action rifle. But it failed in the market place to sell well enough for them to keep the model in production.
