Buds Gun Shop?

This might have been asked before but I would appreciate any comments about experiences good or bad about buyin from Bud,s.I can save some serious coin on a purchase from Bud,s but always liked to deal directly with shops but the major savings is swayin me.No taxes and a $20.00 transfer fee from a FFL listed on their site is another huge plus.I don,t personally know the FFL personally and they aren,t a shop but they are only about a dozen miles away.

I have gotten seven guns from them. I have had no problems but I have heard of some people having trouble. If you don't belong to TEAM BUDS they can be a little slow to ship.I don't belong I don't like paying extra so somebody can sell me something.Make sure you let the shop know you are ordering something my dealer is on Buds Preferred Dealers list but I always call.

Re: Buds Gun Shop?

I have purchased eleven firearms from Buds.
Remember two things: 1) other then team Buds items were next day shipping is offered they do not physically have the item in stock. They order when you do and the delay in shipping is waiting on the item to ship it to you. 2) If you view an item on there web site and go back the next day the price may be different. Decide what you want to pay and wait for it to go back down.

PA Use Tax - When Pennsylvania sales tax is not charged by the seller on a taxable item or service delivered into or used in Pennsylvania, the consumer is required by law to report and remit use tax to the Department of Revenue. The use tax rate is the same as the sales tax rate: 6 percent state tax, plus an additional 1 percent local tax for items purchased in delivered to or used in Allegheny County and 2 percent local tax for Philadelphia.

I'm pretty sure 70% of PA residents are committing tax fraud then.

"Example: You take your watch to Delaware to be repaired. After it has been fixed, you bring it back to Pennsylvania. You owe use tax on the repair service."

That's insane right there.
