Re: Taurus/Rossi judge carbine rifle

depends upon what you want it for. In at least one state the courts have ruled it illegal to hunt with for big game. As it can shoot birdshot, it was ruled a shotgun.

I suspect it is a shotgun in other states also.

It also holds more than 3 shotshells if you wanted it for small game.

Re: Taurus/Rossi judge carbine rifle

i believe it comes with a devise to plug the other two chambers to make it legal for small game. The barrel is fully rifled, so it wouldnt be any different from hunting with a slug gun (or a smoothbore shooting slugs) concerning deer. Personally i want it for the .45 colt aspect for close range brush hunting and because the whole cylinder enthralls me

Re: Taurus/Rossi judge carbine rifle

I saw one of these for sale a few day ago, and at first
Im thinking thats a cool looking gun, then Im thinking,
what do I need it for? Never thought about the legal issue
of hunting with it.
