22lr ARs

Thinking about getting one of them 22 ARs for the summer to mess around with on the farm. Just wanted to know the best brands and how they are with accuracy.

Re: 22lr ARs

I love my S&W MP 15-22. As far as accuracy, I have a red dot on mine with no magnification and I can put 50 shots in hole a little bigger than a quarter at about 35 yards or so.

Re: 22lr ARs

If you're looking for something a tad cheaper, but still on the tactiCOOL side, I picked up a ruger 10/22 TALO model. It came with the picatinny rails, flip up rear sight, 25rd magazine, and a 6 position rear stock. I absolutely love it and I only paid $291 out the door.

Re: 22lr ARs

My vote goes to the 15-22 having owned or shot it, the 10/22, conversion kits for actual 5.56 rifles, mossberg plinker, and colt 22.
