Restoring rem 760 qeustions...

Anyone know where to get buttstocks and forend for a 70s style
Model 760 game master? Prefer new.....gonna reblue the whole rifle and was thinking about getting the newer 7600 wood if they will fit and work?

I'm not sure if they fit perfectly or not. I put a newer factory synthetic stock on my early-issue 760 and there is a bit of a gap between the edge of the receiver and the stock - the part of the stock that fits in to the recess in the receiver is solid though. But that is not the age range of your's. 20 gauge 870 stocks are supposedly the same too.
