Re: Ammo shipping

I ordered a flat of shotgun shells from cabelas and they came ups. A buddy delivers for FedEx and delivers both guns and ammo at Times.

Re: Ammo shipping

Ship the ammo UPS ground and mark the boxes "ORM-D Cartridges, small arms"

Re: Ammo shipping

Take it to a ups terminal, not ups store, and mark it as roboz said. You don't need stickers, a sharpie marker is fine. No extra rates either.

Re: Ammo shipping

Just put the ammo in a box take it to the post office and mail it. When they ask if you are mail a variety of certain items you say no and pay the postage and go on your way

Re: Ammo shipping

Yes, atr you could do that, but that would be against the law and it could result in some unhappy experiences.

Why lie and risk an (albeit slight chance) embarrassing conversation with the Feds when for a couple extra buck$ you can send it UPS and have it tracked and insured ??

Re: Ammo shipping

I agree, why take the chance. Buddy shipped a chain saw once USPS and while he had drained all the gas and oil it still ended up smelling. Nothing happened, but he had to answer for it, which delayed delivery. When in doubt, ship UPS.

If the USPS ever got over their case of cranial rectumitus they could put UPS and FedEx out of business. Their rates are great and I've shipped things to CA that only took 3 days. They just have WAY too much bull and if something happens it's twenty questions.
